Mark your calendar for the next County Executive Committee (CEC) meeting scheduled for Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 11:00 AM.

Precinct chairs are urged to attend this CEC meeting for the purposes of:

- Nomination to fill vacancy for Harris County Clerk and Harris County Department of Education School Trustee, Position 7, At-large on November 3, 2020 General Election ballot

- Swearing in County Chair and Precinct Chairs for 2020-2022 term of office

- Election of County Secretary and Treasurer for 2020-2022 term of office

- Approval of members for Standing Committees for 2020-2022 term of office

- Nomination of Precinct Chairs to fill vacancies

- Hear an update from the Harris County Democratic Party Chair

- Such other business as may come before the meeting

There are two Democratic nominee vacancies on the November 3, 2020 General Election ballot for the following races:

- Harris County Clerk - Unexpired term, through 2022

- HCDE Trustee, Position 7, At-Large - Full term
