In lieu of a "normal" meeting, for October we will instead be hosting a GOTV Kickoff for HISD trustees Holly Flynn Vilaseca (Dist VI) and Anne Sung (Dist VII). These two candidates are the only Democrats in each of their respective races, and we need to do all that we can to keep Q-Anon Trumpublicans from getting a foothold on our school boards. Please join us and our co-hosts--ROADwomen, Swing TX Left, and the Harris County Democratic Party, at 9:30 for free breakfast tacos (thanks to our sponsor, HCDE Trustee Andrea Duhon), listen to our two HISD trustees fire up the crowd, and then hit the streets to knock doors for both campaigns!
